Attending your appointment
For a small business last-minute cancellations have a big impact, “no shows” mean we are unable to offer these appointments to other clients which cost the business time and money. It is essential for our business to run an efficient and effective diary and to provide you as a client with a first-class service, therefore it is important that you arrive for your appointment on time but no more than 5 mins before your appointment.
This is so we can ensure appointment times and treatments are protected and do not cause disruption to other clients. Please note: Skin /Patch Test must be done 48 hours prior to the first appointment. This will be discussed in full when booking the appointment or during the consultation.
Late attendance
Where clients arrive late for their appointment, we will only provide treatment for the remainder of your booked treatment slot. We are unable to extend the session into the next client’s session. An unplanned reduced session (as a result of late attendance) will still result in a full session (or the equivalent cost of one) to be charged. Please be aware that when booking appointments this time is allocated exclusively for you.
Cancellations and rescheduling appointments
As you are aware cancellations and rescheduling at late notice result in the loss of valuable clinical time and is a waste of resources. It is crucial that any requests for cancellation and rescheduling of previously booked appointments are made well in advance of an appointment.
We, therefore, ask you the client to let us know as early as possible if you need to cancel or change an appointment. We understand that occasionally clients need to change appointment times. Should you need to, we ask for at least 48 working hours notice for cancellations or appointment rescheduling. Failure to give a minimum of 48 Hours’ notice means we cannot fill the appointment slot. We, therefore, reserve the right to charge a fee of 50% of the treatment cost.
Deposits
Appointments of 2 hours or more will require a non-refundable deposit of 20% and are only transferable up to 48 hours before the booked appointment. Habitual “no-shows” or late cancellations will result in a 50% deposit being required for any further appointments.
Any clients who have not turned up for their appointment without notifying us prior to the appointment, or who have not paid a previous cancellation fee for a missed appointment, will be required to pay in full for both the missed appointment and the new service before any further bookings can be made. Please note all deposits are non-refundable. These terms are at our discretion.
Health and Safety
We aim to provide safe and effective treatment, we ask for your cooperation in informing your therapist of any changes to medications or health supplements you may be using, these include prescribed medications shop bought or self-prescribed medications of any description.
Conduct
All clients will be treated with courtesy and respect whilst attending our premises. We expect the same courtesy and respect to be afforded to the therapist.
